Tom House was born and raised in the North Country. He and his wife Laura live in the Dexter area and have been married for forty years. He is the father of seven adult children, eight grand-children and one great grand-daughter. Tom served in the US Navy, was a salesman, a self-employed contractor and just retired from US Customs and Border Protection. He has always enjoyed meeting and talking to the public. He has shared his faith in Jesus many times when the opportunities have opened. Tom has served, at various times, as an Assistant Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, Small Home Group Leader, and he and his wife have served on the foreign mission field. Tom has known Jesus as his Savior and Lord for forty two years. Tom says, “Through it all, I have learned to trust in Jesus!” With retirement, Tom plans on getting more involved in his local church and possibly doing short term mission trips. He says,” God loves this North Country and there are many people that need to know that they are loved, accepted and forgiven.
